Summary

The global coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), which began in 2020, has dramatically changed the way world society behaves and attitudes towards life. Both existential and human, as well as business relations have undergone a cardinal change. In this regard, many researches and observations are carried out in scientific circles and literature, both in international and local Georgian reality.

However, the subject of our research is new to the Georgian reality, because we tried to gather and analyze the financial irregularities / crimes that occurred in different countries of the world (just before and recent) during the pandemic period, so that the Georgian financial market is better prepared for the post-pandemic world. We analyzed the impact of the pandemic on financial relations, society, and financial crime in the world, what new challenges financial-economic relations face, and what lies ahead in the post-pandemic period.

In this regard, the study includes international market research, review and serves as an introduction and preparation of world experience for the local Georgian financial market.
